8A Solving the Problem

8A Solving the Problem

Opportunity: There are many foods, when left in the fridge for a long period of time, that make refrigerator have an unpleasant smell.

Product/solution: One solution to this problem is creating refrigerator with suction vacuum similar to that that is installed in most bathroom. The vacuum in the refrigerator should have an on and off switch to prevent loud noise at night, waste of electricity, and the loss of moisture in the refrigerator. One end of the vacuum should be connected to the refrigerator and the other end lead to the outside of the house. The end that is outside of the house should have a vent to prevent anything coming into the refrigerator.

  1. I think your idea is pretty convenient, however I cannot relate because I have not had this experience yet. Having the smells escape outside the house could be a problem. The smells can linger and cause issues with neighbors. For those in apartment settings the mixtures of all the smells can be horrible as well. So try coming up with a way to combat that.

  2. Hi Tan. Your solution is very creative and makes for a good solution to your problem. You considered external factors which may come up as a result of the problem, which is very crucial. Detail is important when discovering a solution as later problems may come up.
